FISH is an online group of Ohio homeschooling families coming together to offer help and support to each other. They are also an online resource for families that are just starting or thinking about homeschooling. Although many members homeschool for religious reasons, they are not an exclusively Christian group.

SE Michigan Homeschooling Teens and Pre-teens is an informally structured homeschool support group comprised of homeschooling families in Southeastern Michigan. Email list offers a place to connect to place events and activities for teens and pre-teens.

Christian Home Educators Co-Op (CHEC) is a large group consisting of approximately 85-100 families each year. We provide support, resources, activities, and Christian fellowship to its members. They are located in Summit County, Ohio and meet primarily at The Chapel, 135 Fir Hill, Akron, OH, near the University of Akron.

The Akron Zoo features Monkey Island, Tiger Valley, the Asian Trail, Gator Gorge, Wild Prairie, and Penguin Point. Also offers educational programs and special exhibits.

The John Ball Zoo is located on the hillside of a beautiful 140 acre park on the west side of Grand Rapids. Currently the animal collection at the Zoo includes 237 species and 1,183 individuals.

First Ladies National Historic Site in Canton is currently located at the Saxton McKinley House. The City National Bank Building has been renovated for use as the National First Ladies' Library Education and Research Center. The library functions as a national archive of the contributions of America's first ladies and other notable American women.

The Electronic Classroom of Tomorrow (ECOT) is an online public community school sponsored by the Lucas County (Ohio) Educational Service Center (LCESC). It is based in Columbus and has provided students in Ohio with an online public education since the 200-2001 school year.

The Columbus Zoo grounds cover 588 acres along the banks of the Scioto River. Ninety acres are used for the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, which houses more than 700 species and more than 6,000 specimens. The Zoo is one of a handful of U.S. zoos to permanently house koalas. Other Australian exhibits include kangaroos and tree kangaroos. Other animals include reptiles, turtles, West Indian manatees, bald eagles, black rhinos, elephants, and much, much more.

INCHES stands for Inclusive North Columbus Home Education Support. Inclusive means that it is open to anyone regardless of race, religion, home school styles, parenting styles, etc. Public online charter school and "08" school families are welcome to join this support group and participate in activities. This is an informal support group that meets on the first week of each month.

Located in Cumberland, The Wilds spans nearly 10,000 acres of reclaimed, surface-mined land.
